ReadingRaz Kids is an online reading subscription utilized by Johnson School third grade students. Students listen to and read books, record themselves reading, and take quizzes to demonstrate comprehension. Each week I print a report that specifies the frequency and duration of student use, which skills students are practicing, and the results of reading quizzes. When not using Literature Logs, these reports will be used to track participation, so it is important for students to use Raz Kids whenever it is assigned to earn full credit for independent reading. Of course, students may use RAZ Kids beyond assigned work.

MathMath will be assigned as homework most days of the week. It may be an Everyday Math home link or comparable worksheet or an online math practice session using IXL. Home links and IXL support classroom instruction. Students will also practice basic fact fluency. Fluency is dependent upon practice, and third graders are expected to master all multiplication and division facts with within 100 by the end of the year.
